First, my true love, House & Garden (of which I have years of issues carefully stored) was taken out.
Now, the replacement for that true love, Domino, is headed for certain death.
Where, oh where, will I get my inspiration now? These magazines are my life-blood, my one source of divine beauty. They have kept me going since childhood. The impressions they made on my young mind years ago and the continual flow of new ideas now are what fuel the creative engine inside my head.
My muse is dead.
Fortunately for us (and unfortunately for the magazine publishing world) there is plenty of inspiration on the web…but..I agree…it is just not the same at sitting by the woodstove, pouring over magazines page by page…..
very sad…..
